Only 5 minutes into the game Benny Murray had put the home side ahead when he volleyed past the Town keeper, just minutes later a good strong ran from James Rowe saw the home side when the first corner, it took 16 minutes for Mildenhall to have their first chance, when a cross from Pope found Inman in the area, but his first touch off his chest was to heavy and the ball fell in to Huyler's hands, but 3 minutes later Hall where level, a corner wasn't cleared and Pope scored from close range, but better was to come for Hall as just 2 minutes later their where ahead after sean Audley put the ball past his own keeper, but back came the home side and Hall's lead lasted all of 3 minutes as a cross from Adie Cambridge found the head of Murray for his second.
HALF TIME:Histon Reserves 2 - 2 Mildenhall Town
As the second half flowed from end to end, neither side could get to grips with the game, Mildenhall looked the stronger of the two sides, but couldn't test the keeper.
On 73 minutes a lucky escape for the home side as only a last ditch tackle saved Mildenhall from going ahead. As the game drew to a close Hall 's pressure brought them two corners as Histon failed to clear their lines, bur the last chance fell to the home side on 78 minutes when a finger tip save from Kelly denied Haniver from adding a third Histon goal.
